Ten things you didn't know about Fiona
1. She has three Siamese cats called Paddy, Sprite and Whisky, and will definitely turn into a crazy cat lady when she gets old.
2. She is completely addicted to handbags.
3. She first burst into print at the age of 10 when her story “The Three Alley Cats” was published in The Star newspaper.
4. When Fiona was 16, she chipped a tooth on a metal whistle while refereeing a volleyball match. It remains wonky to this day.
5. When Fiona was at Rhodes University she wore black and talked about feminism a lot – just like the characters who get on Trinity’s nerves in “Trinity Rising”.
6. If Fiona could take only one item of make-up to a desert island, it would be mascara.
7. People who leave cupboard doors and drawers open drive her completely nuts.
8. When Fiona was 7, her mom got tired of brushing the knots out of her hair and took her to have it all chopped off. She is still traumatised to this day, and has to eat lots of sour Jelly Tots to help deal with the memory.
9. Fiona has tried hard to like coffee, but never succeeded.
10. If Fiona could be a teenager again, she would dance more and worry less.
